International Exchange Program with Universität Bayreuth, Germany

1.Eligible students: Full-time students of J.S.D., Master of Laws and Juris Master (excluding those who graduated in July 2019), third-year undergraduate students and fourth-year undergraduate students acquiring postgraduate recommendation (only for those who are recommended to Huazhong University of Science and Technology). All the above students should be officially registered in Law School.

2.Application requirements: Healthy students with high standard of morality and integrity, who achieve excellent performances in law courses during study and a certain level of proficiency in German language to meet the basic requirements of study and communication abroad.

3.Principle of the selection: The selection and dispatch of exchange students to the Universität Bayreuth in Germany will be based on the principle of procedural justice and merit-based selection to choose the students who can represent the strength, enterprising spirit and influence of Law School and even our University with the goals of consolidating the existing platform for foreign student exchange programs, expanding foreign exchange channels, and enhancing the reputation of Law School and even our University.

4.Procedure of the selection: The procedure of the selection will consist preliminary test and retest. The preliminary test is a test of foreign language proficiency, including oral test and written test. The results of the preliminary test will be categorized into two grades with three sub-grades, namely, fail and pass (proficient). Only those who pass the test of foreign language proficiency (pass and proficient) can enter the next round of test, i.e., the retest while those who fail the test of foreign language proficiency cannot enter the retest. The retest focuses on professional knowledge and comprehensive ability.
