This laboratory focuses on the study of economic, social and environmental sustainable development and human rights protection in the context of the construction of beautiful China, participates in the drafting and revision of relevant laws, and has achieved fruitful results in environmental rights, water rights, and environmental tort relief. The right to sustainable development was proposed and comprehensively and thoroughly demonstrated earlier. It was endorsed by the United Nations Human Rights Council and was invited to participate in the meetings of the United Nations Human Rights Council Senior Expert Group and the Intergovernmental Working Group on many occasions. Among them, including participation in the United Nations Human Rights Development Conference in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the advisory report submitted was adopted by the United Nations and contained in United Nations official documents. In terms of global human rights education and training, the United Nations accepted the suggestion of researchers in this laboratory to develop and compile online textbooks on global sustainable development and human rights education and training, which have been used around the world and have generated good international response.
